Shop Mezzanine Addition
This item will add space to the mezzanine storage area above the equipment shop.
Background
When the operations center was first constructed, a mezzanine for storage was designed and started above the mechanic’s office and inventory area. The mezzanine  structure was reduced during the project with only half being completed. Because the area intended for parts storage was designed larger, supports were installed and are currently in place to finish this project.
Current situation
Tires and parts are being stored outdoors in various locations in the yard.
Proposed solution
By completing the mezzanine as designed, staff will be able to centralize more tools and equipment making them readily available, maintaining better inventory controls and increasing overall efficiencies.
